About Clint Campbell, CFA®, CFP®, CPWA®

Hi, I'm Clint Campbell, Founder and Wealth Advisor at L7 Wealth.

I founded L7 Wealth after more than two decades in the industry, including roles at Charles Schwab, Capital One Investing, SageView Advisory Group.

I earned the CFP® in 2006, the CFA® roughly a decade later, and the CPWA® around 2020, each pursued deliberately to serve a more advanced layer of client need as my practice grew.

I'm not interested in sitting still. Continuing to learn is part of how I stay useful to clients whose situations and needs are ever-evolving.

In 2025, I joined RFG Advisory and launched L7 Wealth, an independent, fiduciary practice built around my own name for the work: L7, a reference to the seventh level of financial freedom, "Abundant Wealth," from Grant Sabatier's Financial Freedom: A Proven Path to All the Money You Will Ever Need.

About L7 Wealth

At L7 Wealth, we partner with accomplished professionals approaching retirement to help them step into their next chapter on their own timeline.

Located in Franklin, Tennessee—and serving clients remotely nationwide – L7 specializes in organizing the complex pieces of an established career into a single, cohesive financial plan. When years of hard work lead to assets scattered across multiple accounts and complicated equity compensation packages, we bring everything into focus so our clients can pick a retirement date with clarity.

The name L7 Wealth comes from Grant Sabatier’s book, "Financial Freedom: A Proven Path to All the Money You Will Ever Need," which outlines seven distinct stages of financial autonomy. Level 7 represents the summit: a life of abundance. It's not about hitting an arbitrary net worth or chasing a particular investment return; it is reaching the point where money is no longer a source of worry, freeing you to focus on the life and goals you have spent years deferring.

Wealth management works best when treated as an interconnected ecosystem rather than a standalone transaction. We coordinate day-to-day investment management, retirement income design, comprehensive tax planning, Social Security timing, and stock option and restricted stock unit (RSU) strategies into one unified direction. As a fiduciary through RFG Advisory, we are legally bound to act in our clients' best interests, providing objective advice at every stage of planning while minimizing conflicts of interest.

We operate on a transparent fee structure. To that end, we do not sell commission-based investment or insurance products, nor are we subjected to the arbitrary sales quotas common at larger firms.

To maintain the responsive, high-touch standard our clients deserve, we intentionally limit our practice to 50 households. We typically partner with individuals and families holding at least $1 million in investable assets or earning an annual household income of $250,000 or more. By keeping our client base intentionally small, we ensure every family receives the deep, dedicated attention needed to delegate daily investment burdens, make confident decisions from a shared perspective, and truly enjoy the wealth they have built.

Advisory services are offered by Investment Advisory Representatives of RFG Advisory, LLC ("RFG Advisory" or "RFG"), a registered investment advisor. L7 Wealth and RFG Advisory are unaffiliated entities.

FAQs

Which types of clients benefit most from your services and approach?
L7 Wealth works primarily with professionals approaching retirement who have built substantial assets across multiple accounts but haven't had the time to organize them into a clear strategy. If you're juggling a demanding career, equity compensation, and questions about whether you can retire on your own timeline, this approach is built for you. The practice is intentionally limited to 50 households, so each client's situation stays front of mind.
What services do you offer as a financial advisor?
L7 Wealth provides financial planning, investment management, tax planning, Social Security planning, retirement income planning, and stock option and restricted stock planning. These services are coordinated so the different parts of your financial life work together rather than in isolation. The goal is a single, straightforward plan you can actually follow.
Do you offer financial planning, investment management, or both?
Both. L7 Wealth builds a comprehensive financial plan and manages the day-to-day investment work so you can delegate it with confidence. For many clients nearing retirement, having planning and investment management under one roof means fewer gaps and a clearer picture of where things stand.
What is a fiduciary, and are you one?
A fiduciary financial advisor is required to act in your best interests at all times, not simply recommend what's suitable. Clint Campbell is a fiduciary affiliated with RFG Advisory, a Registered Investment Advisor, which means that standard applies to the advice you receive. In practice, it means our recommendations are made with your interests first, plainly and without hidden agendas.
How are you compensated for your services?
L7 Wealth works on a fee basis, typically structured as a percentage of managed investments. The annual management fee starts at 1.5% and declines as the amount under our management increases. Fee-based compensation is designed to keep our interests aligned with yours and to keep the cost of advice transparent. We'll walk through exactly what you pay and what you receive before you decide to work together.
What is your investment philosophy or approach?
The focus is on building an actionable plan you can follow, not a report that sits on a shelf. Investment decisions are made in the context of your full financial picture—your goals, timelines, tax situation, and tolerance for market swings—rather than chasing short-term performance. It's a disciplined, long-term approach designed to support the retirement you're working toward.
What minimum asset level, if any, is required to become a client?
L7 Wealth generally works with clients who have at least $1,000,000 in investable assets or $250,000 in household income. These thresholds help keep the practice small and the level of attention high. If you're close to these numbers, it's worth a conversation to see whether the fit makes sense.
How do you work with clients—in person, remotely, or both?
Both. Clients can meet in person in the Nashville area or work remotely by phone and video, whichever fits their schedule. For busy professionals with demanding careers, that flexibility makes it easier to stay engaged without adding to an already full calendar.
Do you offer an initial consultation to determine whether we're a good fit?
Yes. An initial conversation gives us a chance to understand your situation and gives you a chance to see how we work—no obligation or pressure either way. It's the simplest way to determine whether the relationship makes sense for both sides before moving forward.
We have investments scattered across many accounts—can you help us organize them?
Yes. Consolidating and coordinating accounts spread across employers, custodians, and asset types is a common starting point for professionals nearing retirement. L7 Wealth takes a holistic view of your assets, liabilities, and income sources, then builds a coherent strategy so everything works toward the same goals. Assets are held at established custodians such as Schwab and Fidelity.
