About Dwayne Reinike, CFP®, ChFC®
Hi, I'm Dwayne Reinike, CFP®, ChFC®, Founder and Financial Planner at Valiant Financial Planning, an independent, flat-fee-only financial planning firm based in Kirkland, Washington.I specialize in helping successful tech professionals and physicians make smarter financial decisions, build wealth, and create a financial future that supports the life they want to live.
I believe great financial planning is about more than investments and spreadsheets. It's about understanding what matters most to you, navigating life's financial challenges, and building a flexible plan that helps you make the most of your hard-earned money. My goal is to simplify the complex, provide honest and objective advice, and help my clients spend less time worrying about their finances and more time enjoying life.
I'm a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), hold an MBA in Finance, and am a proud U.S. Navy veteran. I'm also a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the Fee-Only Network, and the XY Planning Network.
Outside of work, I'm a husband, father of three, Star Wars nerd, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu enthusiast, so-so soccer player, and admittedly out-of-practice guitarist. My wife, Scarlet, and our three children are the motivation behind everything I do. I work hard to build a happy, fulfilling life with my family, and I'm passionate about helping my clients achieve that same kind of financial freedom.
After all, building wealth is important, but having the freedom to enjoy it is what really matters.

About Valiant Financial Planning
Valiant Financial Planning is an independent, flat-fee-only financial planning and wealth management firm based in Kirkland, Washington. We specialize in helping high-income tech professionals and physicians throughout Seattle's Eastside, including Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Bothell, and Woodinville, navigate complex financial decisions, build wealth, and plan for retirement. We also serve clients nationwide.Who We Serve
Our services are particularly well suited for high-income professionals earning $400,000 or more annually, individuals with $1 million or more in investments, and those navigating complex equity compensation or tax planning challenges.
Tech Professionals: We work with technology professionals, including those at companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Meta, who need guidance on restricted stock units (RSUs), stock options, concentrated company stock, tax-efficient investment strategies, and retirement planning. Whether you're deciding what to do when your RSUs vest, diversifying a concentrated stock position, or planning for early retirement, we help you understand your options and build a strategy around your goals.
Physicians: We help physicians navigate the unique financial challenges of their careers, including managing high incomes, student loan repayment, disability insurance, tax-efficient investing, wealth accumulation, and retirement planning. From transitioning into practice to preparing for financial independence, we help make complex financial decisions easier to manage.
Transparent Pricing
Unlike traditional financial advisors who charge a percentage of assets under management (AUM), Valiant Financial Planning charges transparent, predetermined flat fees based on the complexity of your financial situation, not just the size of your investment portfolio.
We don't earn commissions from selling financial products, and we believe you should always understand what you're paying for.
We offer three ways to work together:
Comprehensive Wealth Management: Ongoing financial planning, personalized investment management, and proactive guidance as your financial circumstances evolve.
Ongoing Financial Planning & Advice-Only: Comprehensive financial guidance for clients who prefer to manage their own investments while benefiting from professional planning expertise.
One-Time Financial Planning: A personalized financial roadmap with actionable recommendations you can implement independently, without an ongoing commitment.
Why Work With Us
We believe your financial advisor should be a trusted partner, not a salesperson. Our approach combines personalized guidance, comprehensive financial planning, and transparent pricing to help you navigate life's financial complexities with greater clarity and confidence.
For clients with substantial investment portfolios, our flat-fee approach can also represent significant savings compared with traditional percentage-based advisory fees, allowing you to keep more of the wealth you've worked so hard to build.
Whether you're looking to reduce taxes, make better decisions about equity compensation, prepare for early retirement, or coordinate your entire financial picture, we're here to help you develop a strategy that works for you.
Our mission is simple: Help you make smarter financial decisions so your wealth can support the life you want to live.

We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
