About Ryan Wyatt, CFP®, CIMA®
Hi, I'm Ryan Wyatt, Wealth Advisor at Wyze Wealth Advisors, based in the Pittsburgh area. I work best with people who are 50 or older and starting to think about retirement, or who have recently retired, typically with $1 million or more in financial assets or a goal of retiring with $1 million or more.If I had to describe my approach in one word, it would be holistic. I bring three major areas of retirement planning together into one coordinated strategy that's reviewed a few times per year.
Retirement planning makes sure you're on track to meet your long-term goals.
Investment management customizes your portfolio based on how much risk you're comfortable taking and how much you need to take to reach those goals.
Tax planning is embedded throughout, so your income plan doesn't subject you to unnecessary taxes.
I also review insurance and estate planning, and while we don't write legal documents in-house, we work with a team of outside experts we can refer you to.
My path into this profession started at home. My dad, Ron, has spent his career in wealth management, and from a young age I was curious about what he did. That curiosity led me to earn my bachelor's degree in Finance from The University of Alabama.
I began my career at Vanguard as a Client Relationship Specialist and Investment Professional, then worked as an Associate, Financial Consultant at Charles Schwab and as a Wealth Advisor at True Wealth Design before joining Wyze Wealth Advisors in 2024. I earned my Certified Financial Planner™ certification in 2019 and my Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation in 2020.
What I enjoy most about this work is the people and the problem solving. Building relationships with clients is what makes my career fulfilling, and I love working through whatever is in front of us, whether that's a piece of a client's financial plan or something in our business. I'm also personally passionate about pursuing financial independence, which lets me bring that same energy to the strategies I apply for clients.
Outside of work, I'm not very good at sitting still. I grew up in Peters Township, where I'm now an assistant hockey coach, and I've been a member of Toastmasters since 2015. You'll often find me on a bike ride, at the driving range or a public golf course trying to break 80, traveling with my girlfriend, spending time with family, or at a Steelers game. Pittsburgh is a big, small city, and having my family and lifelong friends close by is what I love most about it.

Wealthtender® is a trusted, independent financial directory and educational resource governed by our strict Editorial Policy, Integrity Standards, and Terms of Use. We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
